RIMOND, in collaboration with FAO and based on the creative concept by GIO Forma, delivered the FAO MuNe – Global Food and Agriculture Museum and Network, acting as Design & Build Partner and coordinating architecture, engineering, and construction through an integrated approach. The museum spans approximately 1,300 sqm within the FAO Headquarters, reinterpreting a historically significant context through a contemporary language that combines technology, sustainability, and cultural heritage. Conceived both as a prestigious venue for institutional visits and as a global awareness platform, the project aims to communicate FAO’s key themes while inspiring future generations. RIMOND translated the concept into an immersive architectural and museum experience: 14 interactive rooms, enhanced by advanced digital technologies, guide visitors through an engaging journey where spaces become tools for communication and dialogue. The scope covered the entire process, from engineering to construction and exhibition fit-out, including the development of technological systems and immersive storytelling. The integrated approach ensured alignment between design quality, delivery efficiency, and experiential value, transforming FAO’s core principles; cooperation, sustainability, and cultural diversity, into a contemporary narrative.
