Covering 1,200 square meters and rising to 17 meters in height, the pavilion is a full timber structure constructed using sustainably sourced wood. Inspired by the simplicity and functionality of a Nordic barn, the structure’s defining element is its gabled geometry executed entirely with precision timber assembly.
RIMOND led the complete construction process, transforming the architectural intent into a high-performance, exposed wood building. Every beam, panel, and joint was assembled using advanced joinery techniques and Japanese timber craftsmanship. The exterior was treated on site with natural oils and pigments, following traditional Nordic wood preservation methods. This work was carried out in close coordination with specialist suppliers to meet the strict aesthetic and environmental targets.
Construction commenced in May 2024 and was completed in February 2025. RIMOND coordinated a team of local carpenters, joiners, and specialist installers to deliver this handcrafted pavilion on time and to the highest standards.
