RIMOND at the Saudi-Japan Expo Investment Forum: International Collaboration as the Key to the Success of Future Expos

RIMOND participated in the Saudi-Japan Expo Investment Forum, a high-profile event focused on exploring how Japan and Saudi Arabia are turning their Expo ambitions into concrete, high-impact strategies.

The forum brought together leading figures from both institutional and business sectors to discuss how the experiences and lessons from Expo 2025 Osaka can serve as a valuable reference for the planning and execution of Expo 2030 Riyadh. Particular attention was given to the Saudi Arabia Pavilion, designed as a narrative preview of Expo 2030 and as a strategic platform for engaging international partners and audiences.

In this context, Mert Cek, Managing Director of RIMOND Japan, spoke about RIMOND’s role as general contractor for six pavilions at Expo 2025 (Saudi Arabia, UAE, France, Monaco, Portugal, and the Nordic countries). During his intervention, he emphasized how international collaboration in construction and design is a key factor for the success of World Expos: a collaboration that not only creates iconic and sustainable spaces, but also strengthens cultural exchange and fosters a global engagement that is increasingly inclusive and innovative.

Through this contribution, RIMOND once again demonstrates its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and design excellence, values that have always guided the company in delivering projects that leave a lasting impact on the international Expo landscape.
