RIMOND at Expo 2025 Osaka

Expo 2025 Osaka has officially opened its doors, immediately establishing itself as one of the most ambitious international projects of our time. At the heart of the event lies the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” a concrete invitation to rethink the interaction between people, technology, environment, and culture.

In this global setting, RIMOND takes center stage with the construction of six national pavilions, playing a decisive role in shaping the architectural and engineering identity of the Expo site.

Through an integrated approach that combines advanced engineering design, modular construction techniques, and high-efficiency logistics, we have developed complex structures capable of transforming cultural identities into experiential, sustainable, and technologically innovative spaces.

The RIMOND built pavilions at Expo 2025:

.

Saudi Arabia Pavilion
Designed by Foster + Partners for the Ministry of Culture, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the pavilion is a monumental structure integrating complex geometries, high-tech materials, and an ultra-precise construction system. An iconic architectural expression of the country’s strategic vision.
RIMOND: General Contractor

.

UAE Pavilion
Designed by ASA – Architects & Structural Engineers Associates for the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, the pavilion features parametric design and high energy efficiency solutions. A cutting-edge construction project where sustainability and innovation meet.
RIMOND: Detailed Design & General Contractor

Monaco Pavilion
Designed by Jérôme Hein and Nicolas Fedoroff for S.A.M. Pavillon Monaco, this pavilion embodies elegance through low environmental impact construction systems and an essential structural design, while delivering high architectural and engineering performance.
RIMOND: Main Contractor

Portugal Pavilion
Designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates for AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal, the pavilion evokes the power of the ocean through fluid forms and natural materials. A refined balance between organic design, engineering, and spatial storytelling.
RIMOND: General Contractor

Nordic Countries Pavilion
Developed by AMDL CIRCLE for Innovation Norway, the pavilion combines constructive rationality and sustainable materials. Its formal purity and structural robustness reflect the essence of contemporary Nordic architecture.
RIMOND: General Contractor

France Pavilion
Designed by Carlo Ratti Associati with Coldefy for COFREX, the pavilion is a lightweight, modular structure that merges technical innovation with cultural vision. An engineered symbol of French sustainability and design excellence.

Each pavilion is the result of a multidisciplinary synergy between engineers, architects, project managers, technicians, and highly skilled craftsmen. Our contribution relied on digital construction methodologies, optimized assembly timelines, and executional precision, fully aligned with the logistical and time constraints of a global event.

Expo 2025 is not just a global showcase. It is a testing ground and a laboratory for sustainable and innovative construction solutions. For RIMOND, it is an opportunity to demonstrate how engineering can interpret change, helping build the future through expertise and technology.
